The testing complex for the study of energy-saving characteristics and durability of building material, structures and constructions.
In order to implement the project “Development of an optimal model of thermal control and design principles of energy efficient buildings” the university researchers and the developers of the project have established and commissioned, a testing center for building design “Research testing complex for the study of energy-saving characteristics and durability of building material, structures and constructions” in the territory of Building Construction Testing Center at Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture and received metrological certification to run the center.

A house, as the object of human activity, there are two main functions - spatial and thermal. Spatial function for homes is to create a specific required and convenient space for its living activities. For industrial and civil buildings spatial function is determined by the certain technological operations to be conducted in the building.

Mobile complex for the determination of acoustic characteristics of buildings and structures.
The sound insulation problem of modern structures is relevant today not only for Ukraine, but also for all post-Soviet states. Buildings are constructed without the proper sound insulation. The issue of improving sound insulation is topical for inexpensive building projects and for luxury housing. However, they are not always addressed at the design stage. On the one hand the designers are reluctant to increase the construction cost of a building, but on the other hand they have a lack of understanding of the seriousness of the problem.
